- On 16 April: Special meeting of the Netherlands UNESCO WMO Water Committee, the Netherlands Permanent Delegation to UNESCO, and the IHP Secretariat
- On 22 April: National meeting of the Netherlands UNESCO WMO Water Committee
- On 19 and 20 May: Meeting of IHP Region 1 (Northwest Europe and Northern America)
- From 1 till 5 June: 27th Ordinary session of the IHP Intergovernmental Council
